£10 single / £16 return
TIPS ON HOW TO USE THE FERRY SERVICE
A good alternative to a harbour cruise is to take a return ferry trip which takes in most of
Salcombe harbour BUT NOT the seaward entrance to the harbour or the heads of creek
Creeks cruises depart from Kingsbridge only. If you would like to join the cruise from
Salcombe then please take the ferry to Kingsbridge and stay on board to join the cruise.
The ferry fare from Salcombe to Kingsbridge and back will be ½ price if you are staying on board for the Creeks cruise.
Eating out - When the high water tides are in the evenings then check the timetable for suitable times that would make it easy to catch the ferry to either Salcombe or Kingsbridge and stay for a drink and/or meal before catching the last ferry back.
Children (4-14yrs) receive a 50% discount on all prices listed above. Infants (0-4yrs) travel for free.
BUGGIES, DOGS AND BIKES
No problem with any of the above. Dogs on leads please with well behaved owners! Your ferry crew will help you with the stowage of bikes and buggies.
Unfortunately, we can only accept cash on-board. Please ensure you bring sufficient funds with you on the day.
We do not have any parking spaces associated with the ferry or cruise services. Please ensure you use public parking spaces and ensure you make sufficient allowances for transferring to and from the ferry, as well as fluctuations of journey times. The Rivermaid Ferry Company Ltd cannot be held responsible for any subsequent charges, incurred as a result of delayed journeys. Please note that there is no permission for ferry passengers to use The Crabshell Inn for car parking.
Disabled access is often possible but always governed by the daily tides. If in doubt we do ask that you contact us (07967597527) in advance so we can ensure minimum disruption to your day. Please note that the ferry landing at Salcombe is at the bottom of some steep steps and the Kingsbridge landing is not always on the level.
